Photography Education

The first module introduces you to the basics of using your camera. We’ll go over exposure settings, focus settings and shooting modes in detail. You will be given practical exercises to help you consolidate your knowledge and use your camera confidently in a variety of environments.

In the second unit we will focus on composition and light. You will learn the basic principles of composition and learn how to use natural and artificial lighting to create expressive photographs. Practical exercises will help you develop your photographer’s eye and learn to visualise the shot before you even press the button.

The third unit will be focused on portrait photography. You will learn portrait photography techniques, how to work with models and create the right atmosphere. We will discuss interaction with the model, choice of angles and lighting, as well as practical exercises where you will be guided through the process.

In the fourth unit we will focus on landscape photography. You will learn the secrets of nature photography, how to choose locations and work with different weather conditions. Practical workshops will help you to develop your skills in this area and learn how to capture the beauty of the world around you through your photographs.

In the last unit, you will learn the basics of photo editing and post-production. We’ll understand how to work with photo editors, create a unique style and final processing of images. You’ll get practical tips and guidelines to help you enhance your photos to perfection.
